Chairs and Poufs

Description

Irresistible and alluring, one of the stars of Dinner at Eight was Jean Harlow—among the quintessential actresses of 1930s American cinema, renowned for her natural beauty and magnetic charm. Inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement, the journey of In the Mood for Love continues with the creation of the Harlow chair, available in a bucket-seat version or without armrests. The leather upholstery, with its cartilage-like texture, recalls the character and craftsmanship of vintage briefcases and handbags, where the container itself expresses an authentic and personal language. In an ongoing dialogue between concept, design, and execution, the deliberately minimal form takes shape through raw-edge cutting and hand-stitched leatherwork. The armrest seamlessly integrates with the backrest structure, meeting the need for informal and spontaneous use—perfect for dining, conversation, and relaxation.
