Before Sunrise

Refined yet free of affectation—this is the essence of the Before Sunrise boiserie, named after Richard Linklater’s beloved 1995 film. The Before Sunrise boiserie is composed of an arrangement of linear, flat, and volumetric elements that, through their common grammar, achieve harmony across a wide range of configurations, adapting to both the personality of the client and the particular characteristics of its setting. As a whole, vertical lines define the structure, acting as guiding tracks along which elements can be arranged with complete freedom. The available components—panels, backings, shelves, opaque and transparent storage units (both horizontal and vertical), and integrated lighting strips—allow for endless customization. The horizontality of the shelves, combined with the storage units, permits numerous interpretations without predefined constraints, creating a personalized functional language with a vivid aesthetic, further enhanced by integrated lighting. Finely crafted metal elements establish a distinctive stylistic code for Conte Casa. The strict graphic precision of vertical and horizontal coordinates—pure and abstract in composition, reminiscent of the De Stijl movement—is contrasted by the use of noble, nature-inspired materials that exude a composed opulence. The poetic quality of these materials serves as tribute to the elegance of traditional furniture-making, echoing the long history of Italian design, where formal and compositional balance is synonymous with the exceptional and the unique.
