Description

“TAKO”, meaning kite in Japanese, blends style with a sense of lightness and elevation, evoking the feeling of soaring through the sky in a dream. Its design language is inspired by the geometry of the traditional “Magewappa” tray, a Japanese craft that highlights graceful fluidity while symbolizing the harmonic contrast between the square and the circle—a representation of rationality and passion coexisting. The concept is built upon these two fundamental shapes, unlocking new possibilities and perspectives. While the rigidity of geometric forms remains, it is softened by organic, sinuous curves, preserving the elegance of simplicity without compromising the purity of the square and the circle.
